One of the finalists!

A few days ago, I received some incredibly exciting news – I am one of the finalists in the Linköpings Studentsångare Composition Award 2024!

My piece Who has seen the wind? for male choir will have its world premiere at the final ceremony on June 1st in Linköping Cathedral, where the winner will also be announced.

As a composer, there are many competitions to take part in, and the competition is always tough. I occasionally enter competitions that feel exciting and timely to challenge myself and develop my writing. But I never could have imagined that I would be one of the finalists – so I am absolutely thrilled and proud of this!
