đ¶ The German premiere of Hanna Blombergâs The Meaning of Time (2023) will introduce a Swedish composer who blends the tradition of Swedish folk music with contemporary elements in her workâa truly fascinating piece!
đ„ Following that, the young and highly talented Passau cellist Lida Limmer will perform the highly virtuosic and rarely played Cello Concerto No. 2 by Camille Saint-SaĂ«ns.
đ„ The grand finale will be Symphony No. 3 by Finnish composer Jean Sibelius, reflecting the vast Scandinavian landscape with its powerful beauty.
đȘ This time, it's all about female power: composer Hanna Blomberg, soloist Lida Limmer, and conductor Eleni Papakyriakou!
đ A heartfelt thank you to the association Konzertfreunde Straubing e.V. for the opportunity to be part of the Neue Töneconcert series. We are thrilled to perform in the beautiful Knightâs Hall of the Duke's Palace in Straubing!
